Open Minds was relaunched at Sheffield Mind's Christmas Social on 9th December 2022, where trustee Tim talked to service users about their experiences at Sheffield Mind and asked for ideas about how we can make things even better! The event was a real success, so we're very pleased that Open Minds now occurs regularly.
All service users and interested members of the public are welcome to join us for conversation and nibbles, we use these sessions to talk to you about our services and get your ideas for improvements, but they're also an opportunity to socialise in a welcoming environment.
The opinions of our service users is very important to us and we regularly talk to people about their experiences of mental health to be sure that their needs underpin and shape, everything that we do.
Ready to be a star? Mind are looking for someone to appear in a film sharing their experience of anxiety. the video will be shared publicly at an event to celebrate Mental Health Week. Click here if you're interested in taking part.
More people are struggling to make ends meet despite working, including people with mental health problems. Mind would like you to share your experiences so they can compile evidence of how people are coping.
We're committed to putting service users at the heart of all we do, both in determining their own care and support and also in how we plan and run our services.
