I originally wanted a career in childcare and I'd had several jobs before I applied to Sheffield Mind. Now I love being involved in business and admin.

What's it like to work at Sheffield Mind?

It's varied, the staff are great, you're encouraged to do your best and the managers are really supportive. Since I arrived, the organisation has supported me to complete Level 1 & 2 Interpreting, Food Hygiene and NVQ levels 2,3 & 4. I was inspired to do some of the advanced studying because everybody believed in me so much. Even though I've financed it myself, I've had encouragement and support from my line manager all the way!
