Great to see our magpies service getting some well deserved national coverage in this month's Mind membership magazine.

the article focuses on our Divya, who works as a CBT therapist in our Hoarding Support Service (Magpies) which is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. She and the team work with individuals to identify the issues that are causing them to hoard and support them to look at how they can change patterns of behaviour.

Through one-to-one and group support, people can access practical advice and input to address their home conditions and other difficulties that often accompany hoarding behaviour, such as social isolation.

As well as providing one to one support in the home and community, staff run Health & Wellbeing Groups, for clients wishing to explore their hoarding behaviour and the associated emotions/barriers to dealing with the practical issues that result.
