We are delighted to announce that the, Curtain Call Theatre Company will be performing their new play, 'Punk Rock' at the EPPIC Theatre in Ecclesfield next month and they have very kindly offered to donate the proceeds from ticket sales to Sheffield Mind.

We asked Company member Jack, what to expect from the play and he explained ,

The show focuses on a a group off college students in their final year and highlights some of the troubles that they face, as they navigate their way into adulthood’

He also told us that the company was established by  a group of friends that went to Ecclesfield School and bonded through their love of school musicals and doing shows. He explained that the aim of the group is to,

get some young people into theatre and hopefully help them find themselves all whilst having fun, we’re planning on putting several shows that highlight and raise awareness on the struggles young people face’.

We know the hard work and time that goes into putting on shows and although there are likely to be as many dramas off the stage as on – the sense of achievement for the group, when everything comes together on the night, will be amazing.

If you would like to see the show and support this fabulous local initiative, its on 10th and 12th of April at the Eppic Theatre, Well Lane, Sheffield S35 9TP
