Community Fundraising We believe that everyone deserves to be supported in their mental health needs and that services should be accessible and far reaching. As an independent charity we work hard to raise the funds required to maintain free delivery of services and to ensure that everyone who needs mental health support is able to access it readily. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, we're able to provide a range of services and bespoke interventions and all donations received are invested in the development and delivery of local care. In the past year, your donations have helped fund our Friendly Friday weekly drop in and ManKind peer support group. Both services were born out of a need to address isolation in the local community and thanks to the support of the Sheffield public and our own staff and volunteers, we are seeing growing numbers of attendees at each. Much of the funding we receive is 'restricted' which means that we're limited in how we can use it. It's absolutely crucial to the sustainability of the organisation that we develop diverse income streams that will help us expand and enhance the services we provide at the moment, and allow us to react to local need and think long term about the needs of the local population. Regular donors will be able to play a more active role in the work we do and will be kept informed of events and activities via a quarterly newsletter. If you're interested in finding out more about the scheme you can do so here.
