Counselling and Therapy Services
We are committed to providing a professional and high quality service. Sheffield Mind is one of the longest established providers of mental health services in Sheffield, having offered counselling and psychotherapy for the past 40 years.
Please note that, due to demand, we sometimes have to close our waiting lists for one or more of the counselling services that we run. Regular updates on the status of the service are given here and on social media, so do follow us if you can.
We run a number of different counselling services, each of which carries its own criteria for referral.
All services are free, other than The Listening Post.
We post updates here when waiting lists open and when we have to close waiting lists, due to capacity issues.
In the meantime, if you are interested in receiving counselling and our waiting list is closed, please speak to your GP for alternative options.
You may also find it helpful to visit the Sheffield Mental Health Guide & the Sheffield Directory for further sources of information regarding counselling services & emotional wellbeing support;
