About us Our funders Trusts, donors and grants Sheffield City Council Sheffield Mind is a recognised provider on the Sheffield City Council (SCC) Mental Health Recovery Framework. We provide a Support & Recovery Service (SRS) service, offering one to one emotional and practical support to people with a range of mental health issues. Staff work with clients in their homes and in the community and help with practical issues such as finances, property management and medical appointments as well as helping them to manage their conditions by providing support, advice and guidance. We also offer a Budget Management Service, where we help people to manage their 'personal budgets'. Personal Budgets are awarded by the Local Authority, for people to purchase services, to support them in their recovery. SCC also fund our Connect 3 Service, which is run in partnership with South Yorkshire Housing Association. Sheffield Mind provides a 'floating support' service for people who are struggling to cope and at risk of losing their homes or tenancies, as a result of mental health issues.
