Bright Sparks Energy Support

The Bright Sparks Energy Support Service, funded through the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme is a free service for adults in Sheffield with mental health needs who may be at risk of energy poverty or debt. ‘

We offer personalised advice and support to help ease the stress of rising energy costs, build financial confidence, and improve overall wellbeing.

How we can help:

One-to-one support and group sessions
Guidance on energy bills, tariffs, and ways to save
Support with managing energy-related debt
Help accessing grants, discounts, and other support
Signposting to specialist services
A free home visit, where an advisor can review your energy use, identify savings, and check what support you may be eligible for

Smoking Cessation Support

Our smoking cessation service will be providing tailored support to help people with mental health challenges, stop smoking and stay smokefree. We know its a tough challenge but our staff will be in hand to support and advise and help you through it.
Peer Support Groups

We run a number of peer support sessions, in-person, at our Wellbeing Centre in Sharrow. The sessions provide a safe and welcoming space for people to meet, to socialise and to get support.
Anger Management

We provide free Anger Management courses to men and women who are registered with a GP in Sheffield. The 6 Week courses are free to attend and designed to help you understand your anger, spot triggers, and practice safer ways to respond.
#MarcusMovers Walking Group

Sheffield Mind is delighted to introduce a new walking group, #MarcusMovers, funded by Mind. This welcoming and inclusive group has been created to support people to improve their mental wellbeing, increase physical activity, and strengthen social connections.
Weight Management Programme

Sheffield Mind is offering a weight management course to help people wanting to improve both physical and mental wellbeing. Courses are 12 weeks in duration.
