Thank you for your interest in our Anger Management service.

We have taken the decision to suspend our anger management courses for the time being. We will post details here and on social media of when we expect courses to restart.

We will follow Government guidelines to ensure the safety of staff and service users and may be required to adapt the way in which courses are delivered.

Further details will be posted here and if you have any questions you can email the Sheffield Mind team for information and advice.

Current course outline and referral process

Our free 12 week anger management courses are for men who struggle to manage and contain anger and will help them learn how to express their feelings more effectively and build resilience so they are able to cope with stressful situations.

People accessing the courses will need to demonstrate commitment to change and will be supported throughout, by two Sheffield Mind course facilitators.

In addition to getting an opportunity to learn about anger and understand what triggers an angry response, participants will be given a safe space in which they can discuss in an open and honest manner, the issues/people or situations that cause them to lose control. Peer support will be an important element of the course.

In order to be considered for the course you will be required to complete and return the online referral form. These will be made available when the courses resume.

Questions about the course should be sent to the course facilitators at the following address [email protected]

Course dates for 2020: To be confirmed

This courses have been made possible thanks to the fundraising efforts of Nando's Sheffield and local supporter and Radio Sheffield broadcaster, Adam Oxley.
