Services Practical and emotional support Anger Management Thank you for your interest in our Anger Management service. Please Note: We are accepting referrals from the beginning of November 2019, for the January 2020 Men's course. We hope to run our first Women's Anger Management course in the Spring of 2020 but we are not accepting referrals for this course yet. Details of the course and how to refer can be found below Our free 12 week anger management courses are for men who struggle to manage and contain anger and will help them learn how to express their feelings more effectively and build resilience so they are able to cope with stressful situations. People accessing the courses will need to demonstrate commitment to change and will be supported throughout, by two Sheffield Mind course facilitators. In addition to getting an opportunity to learn about anger and understand what triggers an angry response, participants will be given a safe space in which they can discuss in an open and honest manner, the issues/people or situations that cause them to lose control. Peer support will be an important element of the course. In order to be considered for the course you will be required to complete and return the online referral which you can download here. Questions about the form or the course should be sent to the course facilitators at the following address [email protected] This course has been made possible thanks to the fundraising efforts of Nando's Sheffield and local supporter, and Radio Sheffield broadcaster, Adam Oxley.
