My name is Bridey. I have an Undergraduate degree in Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Cognitive Neuroscience. I also have over 5 years’ experience supporting individuals with their mental wellbeing, and have received training to provide help through the Supported Self-Help programme.

I believe that anyone can experience mental health difficulties, but you do not have to have a diagnosis in order to seek help. Supported Self Help can allow you to take proactive steps to take care of your mental wellbeing when you are struggling, to prevent your distress from getting worse. I feel that it is so important to take small steps to work towards positive wellbeing, and learn skills that can help you deal with difficulties throughout life.

If you are struggling with your mental health, I can offer guidance and resources for you to improve your mental health and wellbeing. I can provide you with information and activities that can help to increase your understanding of the difficulties you are experiencing, and develop skills and strategies to help to manage those feelings. This is the first step to improving your wellbeing.

Through the Supported Self Help programme, I can provide guided support for:

  • Anxiety & panic attacks
  • Low mood & depression
  • Managing stress
  • Anger management
  • Low self-esteem
  • Coping with grief & loss
  • Loneliness
  • Understanding menopause
