Walking can be really good for mental and physical health and wellbeing. Being out and about can be stimulating to the mind and body and walking with a group can be a great opportunity to socialise as no matter where you are what the weather is doing, there is always something to talk about.

We are going to be running a series of walks around the region, for the families of military personnel. We hope to create a safe and supportive space for people to come and talk and share hoe they are feeling with peopel who have been through similar experiences.

Whether new to walking or a regular rambler, the walks will be planned to be accessible and no special kit will be required - other than waterproofs as you just never know!
