GAPS (Gambling Awareness Project Sheffield) is a two year pilot funded by the Gambling Commission which is looking at effective ways of supporting young people (aged 11-25) who are at risk of gambling/gaming-related harm.

We are looking to recruit and train a team of enthusiastic volunteers to help us develop and deliver the project across the city.

There are several roles available and volunteers will add a great deal of value to the project, as they will allow us to extend our reach and make information and support accessible to the people that need it the most.

Volunteers add a huge amount of value to the work we do and we value their contribution greatly. Sheffield Mind is a small and friendly team delivering a range of innovative services across the city. If you are interested in working in the charitable sector or in mental health, we can provide excellent work experience and core training and you can see first hand, the valuable contribution the voluntary sector makes to health and social care.
