There was a very receptive and interested group who attended this session, facilitated at Darnall Wellbeing.

The focus was on looking after our mental wellbeing.  Amongst the various discussions, the group spoke about the importance of having routine and taking time out for yourself – for example, reading a book,  or even taking a short walk and admiring the nature on the way. Our Magpies team suggested that even 1 hour of "me-time" a day can help bring calm and ease to the mind.

Alongside seeking professional help,  exercise and being physically active can help.  We don't need to train for the Olympics, a local health walk or Chairobics can give us the same sense of wellbeing and achievement.
