Sheffield Mind would like to say a HUGE thank you to all the team at Dormer Pramet  for the very generous donation made to us over the Christmas period.

We spoke to a representative of the company who explained that they had chosen to support a mental health charity in recognition of the impact the past year has had on mental wellbeing and wanted to support a local organisation as the company has its roots in the city, having been founded here in 1913.

As it happens, the company used to have a factory very close to our Wellbeing Centre until the mid-1990s – for a big city Sheffield is a very small world!

The money will be invested in the development and delivery of local services so the local community will benefit directly from this generous gift and we are grateful for the support.
