I am a HCPC registered and BAAT accredited Art Psychotherapist. My approach to art therapy is psychodynamic. I aim to support my clients to gain insight and self-awareness to understand why they behave a certain way. This can help people to understand themselves to aid recovery and support improved self-esteem, confidence and self-worth. However, I also offer an integrative approach using person-centred art therapy which is chosen to best suit my client’s needs.

I have experience working with children and young people who have experienced trauma, abuse, mental health difficulties such as anxiety, stress, those who are self-harming and have special educational needs, autism, and challenging behaviour.

I advocate the importance of a safe, non-judgemental environment where people can express themselves freely. I believe that everyone has the ability to be creative regardless of their ability or background.

MA Art Therapy. BA(Hons) Creative Expressive Therapies. I have an enhanced DBS certificate, professional liabilities insurance, and attend frequent clinical supervision with an experienced supervisor.
