Alex is a mother to a little boy Oliver; daughter of Denise; sister to Kimberley and auntie to Lexi-Jo and Aubree. Her soul was just unbelievably beautiful, she always put others before her own needs- even when she suffered, she did this in silence but became the ear for many others. Her heart was well and truly in the right place. Family was everything to her, yet her demons prevented her from opening up to us and letting us in. She wanted to live- she loved life- she lived it to the fullest and nothing stopped her from doing what she wanted!

Our promise to you Alex is to always challenge ourselves, love life, and take your memory and courage wherever we go! When we look at the sky and see a rainbow, we smile, we know you are always watching us all, and you will forever be with Oliver, showing him the way. We love you and always will- our hearts have a hole where you will always be but your outrageous, witty, captivating, amazing personality will always live within us. We want you to always be remembered for being you! Every person we speak to has a different story to tell and we love that! Your stories will always keep you alive.

Another year nearly gone without Alexandra. Another walk from Sprotborough to Stocksbridge on 27 August 2022 by 28 family and friends tramping the 23 miles in Alex’s memory, thank you for the fun and humour all the way. This was a fantastic day for getting together and talking. Exactly what Mind is all about. Monies raised, £155 already donated in her name, £1078 to Mind through Just Giving. £2267 from a raffle with prizes donated by South Yorkshire businesses and other personal donations from many lovely people. Thank you - you are all amazing
