Equally Well is an organisation which works to promote and support collaborative action to improve physical health among people with a mental illness. It's hosted in the UK by the Centre for Mental Health in partnership with  Rethink Mental Illness, the Chair of the Clinical Group and Chair of the Expert by Experience group.

Equally Well has published a case study, looking at the work Sheffield Mind has been commissioned by Sheffield NHS Clinical Commissioning Group to undertake. Working closely with GP practices, our Health Engagement Officer is ensuring that patients with severe mental illness (SMI), who are finding it difficult to access their annual physical health checks and/or their COVID19 vaccinations, are offered practical support.

We're very proud that our work is being recognised in this way. You can read the full case study here and you can find out more about our Health Engagement work here
