This post is funded until August 2020, with the potential for extension (subject to funding)

Sheffield Mind delivers the Connect 3 service working in partnership with South Yorkshire Housing Association (SYHA). Connect 3 is a mental health service focussed around supporting people with their housing. Sheffield mind works with people in their own tenancies who are experiencing mental health difficulties.

The service we provide is responsive to client choice and need; enables clients to live as independently as possible; maximises the control they have over their lives through taking charge of decisions that affect them.

We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude and a commitment to promoting peoples mental health. This should be alongside an understanding of the needs and issues that can present for people relating to everyday life and in particular, their housing.

We welcome applications from across the community and in particular from minority ethnic groups. Access to, and the use of, a car is of particular use in this role.
