Services Practical and emotional support Listening Line The Listening Line is a phone service for people aged 18 and over. if you're feeling anxious about what happens next, or you've been advised to shield, or you're experiencing loneliness or isolation and you'd like to talk about it, you can call and speak to a friendly operator who will listen and where appropriate, give advice about local services which you might like to approach for support. The Listening line offers up to 30 minutes on a call, once a week. "Having a weekly chat has made a huge difference to me. If I could buy her a bunch of flowers I would, as she is so caring she has made a real difference to me". (Listening Line caller). From Monday 21st September 2020 til 30th June 2021 we will be operating Monday to Friday, 10-4pm.
