Job Title:       Wellbeing Practitioner/Counsellor (Temporary until August 2022)

Location:       Role based in the community with office base at Sheffield Mind.

Hours:           14.8 per week (including potential for some evenings and weekends)

Salary:          £ 24,172 p.a. (pro rata)

The Role: We are looking for a Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Keeping Families in Mind service. The successful candidate will work with the Keeping Families in Mind team to carry out assessments and offer individual therapy to families of serving and veteran Armed Forces personnel. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to occasionally attend meetings with stakeholders, give promotional talks and attend outreach events.

The Person: We are looking for a self-motivated therapist able to assess and deliver therapy to clients from military families or who are veterans. You should be familiar with a wide range of emotional and psychological disorders and have an interest in joining a small team working with a specific client group. A confident communicator, the post holder will be expected to support the team and wider organisation by promoting the service to internal and external stakeholders.
