Information Officer Part Time

Salary:             £26,819 pro rata.

Hours:              22.2 hours per week

Contract:          Permanent, subject to funding

Responsible to: Business Development Manager

This is an exciting and varied role - the Information Officer forms part of our ‘front of house’ team, along with the Office Manager and the Hear 4U volunteers, greeting people as they arrive at our Wellbeing Centre, answering telephone queries and providing brief information on mental health issues and services to members of the public who phone us, email us or drop in. The Information Officer also manages a small team of Hear 4U volunteers who make weekly phone calls to people who have been referred to us because of loneliness, isolation or mental health issues.

In addition, the post-holder works with the Office Manager, coordinating a calendar of events (e.g. mental health week, Pride month) and publicising and facilitating information drop-ins for members of the public / service users around that theme.
