Friendly Friday Volunteers Required for informal Drop In Sessions
We are looking for friendly and outgoing volunteers to help at our weekly drop in sessions. The sessions run on fridays between the hours of 1.00 - 3.00 at our Wellbeing Centre.The emphasis of the sessions is on social activity, volunteers will not be required to provide mental health advice or one-to-one support but to facilitate activities such as quizzes and games to help people interact and encurage them to socialise.

We are looking for individuals with good communication skills who are comfortable talking, listening and interacting with a diverse group.

Volunteer Receptionist
We are looking for a team of volunteers to help provide a warm and welcoming reception service to our visitors and service users.
The ideal candidates will be confident, friendly and able to deal patiently and sensitively with people in person or over the phone.

Volunteer Fundraiser

We are looking for a Volunteer Fundraiser to join our team and help raise the profile and fundraising opportunities of the organisation.

We are looking for a creative individual that can help create and deliver a diverse programme of events and activites to raise funds and increase engagement with Sheffield Mind.

We are looking to recruit a Trustee with good practical knowledge of IT. This area of operations has frequently been identified as one in which we are lacking expertise and are looking to recruit an experienced professional who can advise on network development and how best to use new software/applications to enhance and optimise the way we deliver services.

As a trustee your responsibilities would be to attend regular meetings of the Board and to participate in periodic strategic development and planning sessions to review and improve performance or address particular areas of concern.

We are always looking for ways  to improve the way in which we work and to make the most of the resources available to us.

Counsellors and Psychotherapists

When we do have opportunities for trainee counsellors/psychotherapists, we only accept people who are on at least their second placement. This is because the clients we work with tend to have complex issues.
