F/T Mental Health Trainer Coordinator

£23,698 per year (12 months initially with potential for extension dependent upon performance)

We have been awarded funding to deliver a package of free training for members of the pubic regarding mental health awareness. In addition to this Sheffield Mind is also looking to develop our mental health training offer to employers and workplaces ranging from schools to heavy industry.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated trainer with a background that demonstrates a sound understanding of mental health related issues and strategies. We would also welcome applicants with experience of supporting workplace wellbeing and of working with or around adults experiencing mental health difficulties.

Applicants will be required to be flexible in their approach, recognising the variety of audiences, industries and contexts within which the training may be delivered, with the ability to adapt their presentation to compliment the needs of the audience.

Working to a clear brief and with challenging but achievable targets, the successful applicant will develop and grow the training service to meet the demand for training across Sheffield and its surrounding areas. We are ambitious for the service and its potential and want to share this ambition with a motivated and proactive trainer. With the achievement of agreed growth based targets, the board of Sheffield Mind will consider the feasibility for the post to continue based on its ability to raise income through training purchased by external organisations.

Keyworker Connect 3

£17,556 - £21,043 (pro rata) 29.6 or 37 Hours

We are looking for a keyworker to be a part of our Connect 3 Service. Connect 3 is a housing focused mental health service for people living in Sheffield delivered by Sheffield Mind in partnership with South Yorkshire Housing Association. We provide ‘floating support’ to people living in their own properties who are experiencing mental health difficulties.

The service we provide is responsive to client choice and need; enables clients to live as independently as possible; maximises the control they have over their lives through taking charge of decisions that affect them.

The post offered is for 4 days per week however there is an additional day available for candidates who are able to fulfil a practice educator role with Social Work students. This would require candidates interested in the additional day to possess a qualification in Social Work and be suitably qualified to work as a Practice Educator.

We would particularly welcome applications from people with access to a car and people from minority ethnic backgrounds.

Sheffield Magpies - Full Time Project Coordinator

£24,472 per year - Current funding to end December 2019

We are looking for a coordinator to develop and deliver our exciting new service supporting people who hoard.

This innovative service, funded by the South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Community Reserve Fund is looking to support people exhibiting hoarding behaviours to address and reduce the risks connected to their hoarding.

We are looking for a dynamic, committed and experienced coordinator who can deliver one-to-one support to clients in their homes as well as to line manage the service keyworker. Working as part of a team you will ensure the service is of a high quality and that it meets its delivery targets.Previous experience of supporting people who hoard would be desirable however direct experience of working with people experiencing mental health problems is essential to the role. A commitment to service user involvement and an ability to communicate with a wide range of people is also required.

We are looking for a Key Worker to deliver our exciting new service supporting people who hoard. This innovative service, funded by the South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Community Reserve Fund is looking to support people exhibiting hoarding behaviours to address and reduce the risks connected to their hoarding.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Key Worker who can deliver one-to-one support to clients in their homes as well as to work alongside the coordinator in ensuring that the service provides a high quality service and achieves its delivery targets.

Previous experience of supporting people who hoard would be desirable however experience of working with people experiencing mental health problems is essential to the role. A commitment to service user involvement and an ability to communicate with a wide range of people is also required.

Full Time Clinical Lead - Counselling and Therapy Service

 

£27,123  37 hours per week inc some evening and weekend working

The postholder will provide management of clinical risk, supervision of counselling staff and to contribute to the overall running of the service. The post has clinical responsibility for services delivered through the Counselling & Therapy Service.

The post holder will contribute to the development of counselling and therapy services and also hold a small case load of clients with high complex needs. This role also includes responsibility for managing clinical risk across the organisation alongside the Head of Operations.

The post holder will lead the clinical team and carry out clinical supervision, referrals, assessments and also deliver therapy at Sheffield Mind. If you wish to apply for the post you can download the application pack here
