Hours:     Flexible to suit the needs of the right candidate - minimum 15 to a maximum of 25 hours per week

Salary:    £24,961 pro rata

The Job:

We are looking for a CBT Therapist to join our pioneering Magpies service, which works with people who have hoarding issues. The role works with people in a goal oriented way both 1:1 and in group & with the team, to help clients understand & address their hoarding behaviour. There will be opportunity, where assessed as appropriate, to work with clients in their own home environments to achieve even more effective outcomes. You will be a vital & valued member of a small, committed & supportive team with opportunities to get involved with all aspects of the Project, including co – production with clients & some exciting further developments in service.

The clients:

Our clients are engaging people with fascinating, sensitive & emotive backgrounds relating to their hoarding issues. The topic of hoarding is an under recognised issue with severe impact on lives but a really interesting one to learn more about!

The Person:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to contribute their skills and knowledge to this innovative project. The post-holder will be required to assess, plan and deliver treatment, report on outcomes and contribute to the other elements of the service. An excellent team player, you will have highly effective interpersonal communication skills to maximise the impact on the service.
