Springboard have announced the first couple of events in a programme of outdoor activities designed to allow users to come together  safely, as we make the transition back to face to face group support.

Time and Place:

Tuesday, 8th February: A walk around Botanical Gardens.

The walk will start at 2.00 and finish at 4.00 and participants  can take in the beauty of a blossoming Spring, look out for snowdrops and beware of squirrels - they have no fear!

Walkers should meet just inside the main gates on Clarkehouse Road. Entrances to the gardens can be found on Clarkehouse Road, Brocco Bank/ Botanical Road and Ecclesall Road.

Transport: 

Buses: 6, 10, 10a, 181, 271 along Clarkehouse Road. 81, 82, 83 along Ecclesall Road - closest stops are by Berkeley Precinct. 

Parking: On or just off Clarkehouse Road. Please be aware of local parking restrictions.

Thursday 24th February: Visit to Norfolk Heritage Park (with optional walk)

14:00- 16:00. Meeting point: NHP Cafe (south end of park).

Main entrances to the park can be found on Granville Road (north of the park), Norfolk Park Road (North Northwest of park) and Guildford Avenue (south of the park).

Transport: 

Buses: Granville Road: 7, 8, 8a.

Tram: Granville Road (Sheffield College): Blue and Purple routes.             

Parking: On-site, accessible via driveway off Guildford Avenue at south end of the park.

Both have toilet facilities and cafes for refreshments.
