Would YOU like to get involved at Sheffield Mind?
Current users of Sheffield Mind can come to meetings
with a member of staff and a trustee, just to talk about their experience, make any suggestions about how to make the building, and how we work here, better, and give their input and advice on new developments.
Anyone can become a member of Sheffield Mind.
This will keep you in touch with what’s going on, help you influence the future direction of our work, be involved in recruitment interviews, attend AGMs, receive newsletters, and generally be involved.
We particularly welcome current and ex users of Sheffield Mind.
Ex users, or anyone else, can apply to become trustees of Sheffield Mind.
This would involve quarterly meetings, the possibility of being on trustee committees, and a real hands on involvement in the work of Sheffield Mind. People who have suffered, or have an understanding of mental distress are particularly welcome to apply.
To become involved in any of these roles, please feel free to talk to any member of staff, and we’ll take it from there, or email us at this email address
A copy of our Service User Involvement policy can be found here.
